Great Falls Park, Virginia: One of DC’s best spring day trips is just minutes from DC. The park is 800 acres and sits along the banks of the Potomac River in northern Fairfax County. Annapolis, Maryland: An hour from DC is Maryland’s capital city and one of the best day trips outside of DC. The shops, restaurants, harbor, and waterfront are hard to beat, especially the amazing crab. https://www.visitannapolis.org/
