Spring Gardens

April 28, 2025

Strolling through a spring garden can be an incredibly peaceful but also rejuvenating experience. The scents and sounds and colors both relax and recharge you. If you happen to be in one of these cities, take some time out and amble along one of these garden pathways.

Keukenhof Gardens, Netherlands

Of course, when we think of spring, tulips come to mind. And with them the Netherlands. Known as the “Garden of Europe,” Keukenhof is one of the largest flower gardens not just in the Netherlands but in the world. Located in Lisse, it’s famous for its stunning tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, and other spring blooms.

Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, Tokyo, Japan

Why is this garden special? It blends traditional Japanese, English, and French garden styles all in one. The Shinjuku Gyoen is a serene spot in the bustling heart of Tokyo. In spring, the garden comes to life with a dizzying number of buds on display. It is especially famous for its cherry blossoms, which create a breathtaking scene when they bloom.

Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, London, UK

A UNESCO World Heritage site, the Royal Botanic Gardens boasts one of the largest collections of living plants in the world. In spring, the gardens flourish with colorful flowers and lush greenery, making it an ideal location for a leisurely stroll.

Jardim Botânico, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Located at the foot of the Corcovado Mountain, the Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden is a lush paradise. It’s filled with tropical plants, orchids, and imperial palm trees. Not only is it a great spot to meander through the blooms, but it also blends historical landmarks amidst natural beauty.
